Sagano Bamboo forest located at Ukyo Ward, Kyoto Prefecture in Arashiyama district of Japan. One can’t forget the sound of air produced while blowing among the bamboos.

It is one of the most attractive natural sites in whole Japan. The forest got stunning natural beauty and the sound the wind makes as it blows through the thick Bamboo Grove, it is sounds amazing. Sagano Bamboo forest, known for humans from many centuries. The area has been a popular destination since the Heian Period (794-1185), when aristocrats would enjoy its natural scenery. Arashiyama is predominantly popular during the cherry blossom seasons and fall color seasons.

Forest Sagano created by monk, poet and master of garden art, Muso Soseki in the XIV century. Also there is a pond in the Sojan forest entwined with the beautiful circular walkway besides ranked high bamboo trees.

These bamboo forests are located around the mountains; the top of the mountains is reached through the forest paths where the stunning panaroma of the forest and the river is revealed. Also, on top of the mountain peak, there is also a Mountain Park where numerous monkeys wander freely.
